As Artistic and Music Director of the Orquestra da Costa Atlântica (OCA) since its founding in 2015, he has shaped an ambitious artistic programme that brings established masterpieces into dialogue with lesser-known repertoire and contemporary works. Alongside his work on the podium, Clemente has established an international profile as a conducting teacher and mentor, leading masterclasses and advanced training programmes across Europe, Asia and the Americas. With academic training in musicology and ethnomusicology and a PhD in Conducting focused on Carlos Kleiber, his teaching combines scholarly insight, technical precision and practical orchestral experience, encouraging conductors to develop their individuality and discover their own musical voice.
